My client requires a Web Developer with the following skills: Essential: Strong knowledge of Object Orientated Design concepts, including experience of the implementation on a large development project in a senior capacity. Extensive use of Rational Rose and Websphere Studio Application Developer including coaching developers. Experienced in UML, able to lead the development team in this discipline. Strong Java programming skills, preferably Sun Certified. Good J2EE skills, including experience of n-tier application development, Experienced in the use of SQL, preferably from an Oracle background. Experience of the full development lifecycle on a number of OO*J2EE projects. Able to work as part of a team and be able to communicate with developers and other members of the project team. Desirable: Some knowledge of XML, XSLT and Schemas. Some knowledge of HTTP * SOAP and web services. Some experience of creating system interfaces (MQ) and Shell Scripting in UNIX. A good understanding of the UNIX operating system. Knowledge of Web sphere Studio Application Developer IDE, Knowledge of Rational Rose Design tool, Knowledge of PVCS Code Configuration repository.
